TasksIdentify the setting of (3) pieces of fiction from your literature book.
Characters are based upon real people. Think about yourself and how your character (personality) is revealed. Write a brief paragraph explaining how people determine your character and how would a writer writing about you show that to a reader. Think of a major character from a recent story you have read. Describe the character's traits and give evidence from the story to support your answer. Think of (5) well-known books or stories and list the title and a theme that is examined in each one. Research and find (5) different well-known poems that express (5) different moods. List the title of the poem and the mood. Compose the same sentence in (3) different ways: make the first one 1st person point of vew; make the second sentence in 2nd person point of view; make the third sentence in 3rd person point of view. Read "I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud" by William Wordsworth. Identify the speaker and all the characteristics you learn about the speaker based upon only what you learn from the poem. Using information from the link to the left, describe the narrator of a short piece of fiction from your literature textbook. Identify the reading selection and include if the piece is written in 1st, 2nd, or 3rd person perscpective. Choose any one selection from your literature book that you have read.
